I work with organisations who want to build thriving teams. Organisations who have hired the best technically skills people but have recognised that there's a gap and this gap is impacting the team and organisations performance. 

Managers and Senior Leaders are lacking the emotional and social skills which are needed to build a positive culture, high performing teams and a happier, healthier workforce. 

We work together to identify individual emotional intelligence development opportunities and develop strategies to improve these areas through 1-2-1 coaching. We also look at the team as a whole, where their strengths are and where there are areas where they can work more effectively, in harmony and with greater collaboration and cohesion.

Emotional Intelligence Model

What is Emotional Intelligence? It is a set of emotional and social skills that influence the way we perceive and express ourselves; develop and maintain relationships; cope with challenges and; use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way. Emotional intelligence skills are critical for building relationships and teams, resolving conflict, solving problems, leading effectively and building resilience.

 

We use The Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i 2.0), the world's leading measure of emotional intelligence, applying decades of research to support effective human performance and development. The EQ-i 2.0 is an online self-rating assessment tool, with the option of adding a multi-rater EQ 360.

The EQ-i 2.0 model of emotional intelligence is comprised of fifteen factors across five categories of functioning:

  1. Self-Perception

  2. Self-Expression

  3. Interpersonal

  4. Decision Making

  5. Stress Management

These skills, which form the building blocks of abilities such as communication, resilience, and time management, can be mapped theoretically and empirically to job competencies, productivity, academic performance, and other measures of success to help predict and improve functioning.

Emotional Intelligence Reports

The EQ-i 2.0 Assessment provides you with a detailed report which includes your Total Emotional Intelligence score, areas of strength and potential areas for development. The report also includes a Well-Being Indicator that measures your level of happiness. 

Using the detailed interpretation of how well you are using the EQ competencies we will focus on development opportunities and strategies to help balance these EQ competencies to enable you to build relationships and teams, resolve conflict, solve problems, lead effectively and build resilience.
