Dealing with Change

Last week I posted about packing my bags 12 years ago to move to this beautiful country and the positive effect change has.
Today I woke up to a facebook memory from this day last year, with the caption ‘Lochy’s all ready to navigate our way to our next adventure’
After approximately 13 years in the corporate game, I left the world I knew, the world where I had both a comfort and security blanket wrapped around me.
The only plan I had was a campervan and a road atlas. This turned out to be yet again another ‘best decision I ever made’ moment!
After
🛣️ 85 days on the road
🚙 9000+ miles driven
⛰️ 650 miles of hiking
👣 1.4 million steps taken
🐕 3 dog passports
🍷 Copious amounts of french wine, cheese and bread consumed
I returned home 🦄 and started the process of setting up my companies.
Jumping out of my comfort and security zone enabled me to grow, adapt to new circumstances and become more resilient. I had the time to explore new ideas and start aligning my life to my values.
I’ll repeat the words of JFK "Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future."
I’ll also repeat my message from last week ‘step outside your comfort zone, be curious and embrace change - you never know it might just be the best decision you ever make!’
